The prosecutor, Inspector of Police Patrick Essien, informed the court, under the oversight of Mr. Charles Owusu Nsiah, that the victim of the crime was a local hairdresser, Patricia Kyei. She reported the incident after returning to find her house burgled and damaged, with notable items missing including a television, cloth pieces, and various household goods.
Inspector Essien detailed that Kyei left her home on December 11, 2024, and upon her return on March 12, 2024, discovered the break-in. Following the theft, the unit committee task force conducted an investigation which led to Buamah’s confession, resulting in the retrieval of the stolen items from his residence. Buamah was apprehended and subsequently turned over to the police for formal charges.
