The 2025 Argentinian MotoGP returns this weekend, which brings excitement for Aprilia rider Marco Bezzecchi. He expressed his joy about the event, stating his disappointment over last year’s cancellation, and emphasized the team’s ongoing development of the RS-GP25 in anticipation of the reigning champion’s return. “I can’t wait to be on the track” – Marco Bezzecchi.
Jorge Martin continues to recover following a severe crash during pre-season testing which resulted in a fractured wrist. On his recovery journey, Martin stated, “I’m working hard, it’s been a difficult time, but I’m trying to be back as soon as possible. I hope to see you all really soon”. Despite his optimism, Aprilia team chief Massimo Rivola confirmed Martin will not participate in the Argentina race.
Rivola noted that, according to medical advice, Martin’s injury was quite serious, but he remains positive about the rider’s potential for a quicker recovery period, stating, “Normal people would take a lot of time but superheroes [are] like riders”. In Martin’s absence, Lorenzo Savadori will once again take his place at the race, aiming to ensure the team is fully prepared for Martin’s eventual return.
Savadori expressed his commitment to enhancing the bike’s performance, saying, “We are working in the right direction and the goal for the weekend is to continue growing the RS-GP25 more and more so that we can give Jorge [Martin] the best possible bike upon his return.”
