Trial of Alleged Tallismanus Farmer Killer Set to Begin Tuesday

The trial of Rodney Hoxobeb, a farmworker accused of murdering Christof Mungunda in Tallismanus, is set to begin in the Windhoek High Court on Tuesday. The incident occurred in September 2022, following an employment relationship that began in July of the same year. Hoxobeb allegedly killed Mungunda during a heated argument and subsequently fled with the victim’s Toyota pick-up truck.

The charges against Hoxobeb include murder, attempted murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, reckless driving, driving without a license, and driving under the influence of alcohol. The trial will further clarify the events surrounding the alleged crime, including Hoxobeb’s subsequent actions.
