The Central Electoral Bureau of Romania has confirmed the reception and registration of Georgescu’s candidacy proposal. Additionally, the current Mayor of Bucharest, Nicusor Dan, has also entered the presidential race with backing from the People’s Movement Party (PMP) and Right Force. Another contender, Crin Antonescu, representing the PSD-PNL-UDMR coalition, is anticipated to announce his candidacy soon.
